1951
The beginning of international education in Malaysia
Garden International School has come a long way since its founding in 1951 as one of the first British international schools in Malaysia. From its early days in Kuala Lumpur’s Lake Gardens, it has grown into one of the country’s largest international schools, now based in Mont Kiara and Desa Sri Hartamas, educating over 2,000 students.

Garden International School was established, laying the foundation for international education in Malaysia and later becoming part of the Taylor's Schools.
1991
From national roots to international excellence
Taylor’s International School began as a private national curriculum school, with a role in supporting the education of Malaysia’s national badminton athletes under the Badminton Association of Malaysia. Over the years, it has grown into one of Malaysia’s leading private schools, expanding with a second campus in Puchong while earning a reputation for academic excellence and a balanced education grounded in both Eastern and Western values.

2001
Shaping future leaders through Australian education
For over 25 years, AISM has nurtured future leaders through a distinctive Australian education approach. Known for outstanding HSC results, the school combines strong academic performance with enriching co-curricular experiences. Proudly recognised as the world’s first Visible Learning School, AISM places students at the centre of their learning through research-informed teaching that empowers every learner to thrive.

2007
Expanding international education with Nexus Malaysia
Nexus International School Malaysia was established in Putrajaya as part of the Taylor’s Schools. Offering education from Early Years through Pre-university, along with boarding facilities, the school delivers a comprehensive international learning experience focused on developing globally minded students as one of the top IB schools in Malaysia.

Nexus International School Malaysia was established as Taylor’s Schools’ homegrown international school brand, purpose-built to redefine learning through innovation. Bringing together cutting-edge technology and future-focused teaching through a connected K–12 and boarding experience.
2011
Crossing borders with Nexus Singapore
Taylor’s Schools expanded its regional footprint with the establishment of Nexus International School Singapore. As the second Nexus campus, it strengthened our homegrown international school brand and extended our commitment to innovative, future-focused learning across Southeast Asia.

This launch marked another milestone in Taylor's Schools' regional expansion by bringing its homegrown, innovation-led approach to learning to one of Asia's leading education hubs.
2020
A new home for Nexus Singapore
Following years of sustained growth, Nexus International School Singapore relocated to its purpose-built campus in Aljunied after Taylor’s Schools secured a successful Singapore Government land bid. Opened in January 2020, the award-winning campus reflects our continued investment in exceptional learning environments designed for the future.

2025
Taylor's International School Kuala Lumpur Campus Transformation
Taylor’s Schools began a major transformation of the Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur campus, introducing enhanced sports, performing arts and student facilities. The redevelopment reinforces our commitment to creating inspiring learning environments that support holistic growth and wellbeing.

2025
A new era for Garden International School
Garden International School entered a new chapter with the opening of its RM100 million Sports Complex, with a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre set to follow in 2027.
